Centennial, CO, November 5, 2020. Johnson Storage & Moving, headquartered here, announced today the opening of its new state-of-the-art 40,000 square foot industrial warehouse building in Fort Collins, CO. This facility houses Johnson’s new full-service logistics/moving & storage business for northern Colorado.
Johnson’s previously serviced the northern Colorado market from its Longmont location with a satellite sales office in Fort Collins. The new facility will bolster Johnson's service capability by dispatching trucks and crews out of the fast-growing Fort Collins MSA. “We are the official relocation partner for the CSU Rams and now we’ll be able to offer truly local service for our NOCO customers, both commercial and residential” said Johnson’s President, Don Hindman. “The northern Colorado metro area is already at 300,000 people and will reach 500,000 by 2030, and we want to be a big part of that growth” said Hindman.
Johnson’s new facility is one of the tallest industrial warehouse buildings in northern Colorado, with a 33.5-foot clear height stacked 4 high, along with an on-site public scale and multiple docks. The facility is sub-divided to accommodate a 15,000 square foot tenant while Johnson’s occupies approx. 25,000 feet. The 15,000 square foot parcel is listed for lease with Craig Hau of The Group Real Estate, Inc. who can be contacted at [email protected].
The new building is located at the northwest corner of I-25 and Mulberry and has tremendous highway visibility with its 33.5-foot clear height. The address is 4015 John Deere Dr. and the General Contractor is Thunderpup Construction, Inc. Johnson’s intends on hiring 30+ people in and around Fort Collins and will be holding a job fair in the upcoming months.
Johnson Storage & Moving is the oldest and largest logistics/moving & storage business in Colorado, with 14 locations across the U.S. servicing 10,000+ customers per year.
