Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support the Easter Seals of Colorado and IN! Colorado Initiative for Inclusive Higher Education for annual truck pull and BBQ last Wednesday. Thanks to your support we were able to raise $10,600 for these two great charities! In case you missed the event, you can still donate to these great charities and see below for a breakdown of the night. Maybe we will see you there next year!
For our truck pull, teams of ten had to pull three trucks across the finish line the
fastest. In order to participate, each team donated $1,000.

In case you were not up to the challenge, we had raffles as well in which all proceeds went to the Easter Seals of Colorado and IN! Colorado Initiative for Inclusive Higher Education. Prizes ranged from gift baskets, spa packages, and a grand prize of a 4K big screen TV!
Before the main event, everyone had the chance to relax, socialize, and build up their strength. Live music was provided by the Brothers of Brass, a local Denver
based band that takes the traditional brass band sound of New Orleans and infuse it with a mix of funk, pop, and hip-hop influences. As music filled the air as did the smells of BBQ, burgers, hot dogs, and chicken were smoked to order and did not disappoint.

The truck pull began, the first truck was a standard Johnson 2010 truck weighing in at 16,000 pounds and the lightest truck on field. Coming in at 6.55 seconds Weifield Electric Contracting, showed they were here to win.
Next up was our vintage moving truck Emily nick named and driven by our founder’s grand, grand, grandson Mark Johnson. This trucks weights in at 33,000
pounds. Weifield Electric Contracting strengthening their lead completing this pull in only 7.78 seconds.

Then came the final truck of the night, our current truck with a 53 foot long trailer weighing in at 44,000 pounds. It was Weifield Electric Contracting coming in
again with the best time of 8.59 seconds.
In third place, was our own Johnson Storage and Moving sales team coming in with a combined time of 26.81 seconds.

In second place, was also our own Johnson Storage and Moving packing and moving crew with a combined time of 25.98 seconds.
In first place, Weifield Electric Contracting, who then dedicated their win and trophy to the Easter Seals of Colorado, with a combined time was 22.92 seconds.

Thank you again to Weifield Electric Contracting, Bank of the San Juans, Coldwell Bankers, Pioneer Packaging, Hays, Plante Moran, Alphagraphics, and ABP Copy Products for your support in helping the Easter Seals of
Colorado and IN! Colorado Initiative for Inclusive Higher Education.
